Rose Garrison, graduated from Barry Law School in 2013, after completing several semesters of legal work with the Department of Children and Families, the Ninth Circuit State Attorney’s office, and a family law clinic where she provided representation to dependent parties in juvenile court. Following graduation, she began her licensed legal career with the DCF before joining the Florida Department of Health in 2015. There, she advanced to a supervisory attorney position, where she managed a team responsible for disciplinary licensure prosecution across 12 medical licensure boards, including Emergency Medical Services, Chiropractic Medicine, and Dentistry. Ms. Garrison later served as Bar Counsel for The Florida Bar, where she continued her work in professional licensure prosecution for the greater Jacksonville area. In 2024, she joined the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Office of General Counsel, where she handles litigation, including appeals, across the entire state of Florida related to sexual offender and predator registry requirements and petitions for removal within the Missing Persons & Offender Registration (MPOR) Unit. In addition to her litigation duties, she provides legal advice on legislative bill drafting and reviews, as well as matters involving offender enforcement, absconder apprehension, and to the Missing Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse, also known as MEPIC.
